WarpNet is Illinois' leader in low-cost, high-speed, reliable Internet solutions.  WarpNet offers a range of services, including dial-up Internet access, web site hosting, e-commerce, and dedicated Internet access feeds.

WarpNet was founded in 1996 as a alternative to high-priced, unreliable Internet services common to the Springfield, IL. area at that time.  In the Spring of 1996 WarpNet went online with 4 modems at a rate of only $10 per month.  Since then WarpNet has added hundreds of digital modems, and expanded its market reach to include web site development, e-commerce, and dedicated data services. WarpNet has also undergone numerous other upgrades to ensure our customers the best services available, in addition to lowering the dialup access rate to only $7.99 per month.

The staff of WarpNet is dedicated to providing its customers with the highest level of satisfaction.  The engineering staff is constantly improving the already reliable network platform which WarpNet operates on.  The engineering staff has advanced knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, programming languages, networking, and the Internet infrastructure.

WarpNet's internal network consists of the most up-to-date, high-quality equipment available.  We utilize Cisco routing equipment in conjunction with 3Com remote access equipment.  All of our servers run Windows NT or Linux on high-speed AMD Athlon and Intel Pentium 4 processors.  Our connection to the Internet backbone currently consists of multiple T1 circuits connected to Sprint  and Ameritech,  far superior to the cheaper solutions sought by competing providers.
